How Does the Challenge Work?

Spend $50 or more from June 1 and July 31 for a chance to win $500 (gift card to a member of your choice)!

  • Submit your receipts/blacked-out bank or credit card statements* to the form listed below by Friday August 7th by 4:30 PM.
  • OR email your receipts to new@carlislechamber.org

*Bank or credit card statements must have all personal information blacked-out except name and qualifying purchases.

Q1: What is the Support Local campaign?
A: It’s a summer initiative running from June 1 through July 31, encouraging the community to buy from local Chamber member businesses—especially restaurants and retailers—for a chance to win $500 in gift cards!

Q2: Who can participate?
A: Anyone! This campaign is open to the public and Chamber members alike.

Q3: How do I enter the drawing?
A: Spend a total of at least $50 at one or more participating Chamber member businesses between June 1 and July 31. Then, fill out the form on the website or email your receipts or a bank statement (highlighting the qualifying purchases) to the email listed on the Chamber website.

Q4: Can the $50 be from multiple businesses?
A: Yes! You can combine smaller purchases from several Chamber members to meet the $50 total.

Q5: What types of businesses qualify?
A: While the campaign emphasizes restaurants and retailers, any purchase from a Chamber member qualifies.

Q6: Can I submit more than one entry?
A: Absolutely! For every $50 you spend, you earn one entry. The more you spend, the more chances you have to win.

Q7: How many winners will there be?
A: There will be one lucky winner of the $500 prize.

Q8: Who provides the gift card?
A: The Chamber purchases the gift card(s) for the winner. Businesses do not need to donate or contribute a card.

Q9: Can I choose which business the gift card is from?
A: Yes! The winner can choose up to two Chamber member businesses to split the $500 gift card amount.

Q10: How will the winner be selected and notified?
A: After the campaign ends, one winner will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries and contacted directly via the information provided in their submission.

Q11: When is the last day to submit my receipts?
A: You have until the end of the business day on August 7 to submit your receipts or bank statements from June 1 to July 31 showing you shopped at member businesses.

Q12: Is there a "no purchase necessary option"?
A: Yes! Post a photo of yourself downtown Carlisle or in front of a participating Chamber member business on Facebook or Instagram, and include the hashtag #717SupportLocal in your caption.
