Evening Mixer

Great opportunity for you to showcase your product, services, and facility. The hosting member is responsible for offering light hors d'oevres and beverages (beer and wine suggested). Attendance ranges from 65 to 125 attendees.
Host Responsibilities
- All catering arrangements (food and beverage) must be made with current Chamber members.
- Invite business contacts, clients, partners, and personal contacts (Guest of the host aren't required to be current members).
- Create mixer invitation to be distributed in the Chamber newsletter (half-page ad).
- Briefly address attendees during the mixer to introduce yourself and your business.
If your favorite caterer is not a member it would be a great time to invite them to join!
Chamber Responsibilities
- Promote & market event through weekly email blast, mailing invite through newsletter to all Chamber members, and the Chamber online events calendar.
- Handle registration of all attendees, provide printed nametags and staff registration table.
- Chamber leadership provides brief remarks and introduces hosting member, if desired.
Make Your Mixer Memorable
- Promotional displays or tables to promote your brand is strongly encouraged.
- Raffles or drawings can be a great way to obtain member information and possibly gain new customers. Have members drop their business cards and consider giving away a product, service, or gift card that applies to your business to a lucky winner.
- Co-host with a non-profit member. Give them a few moments to talk about what their organization does or collect goods to support their organization.
- Offer a special deal on your goods or services available to mixer attendees only.
Host a Ribbon Cutting
The Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer ribbon cutting celebrations to member businesses! This is a great way to showcase your business and commemorate this important moment. The Chamber is the official coordinator of the ribbon cutting, but we will work in partnership with the host to schedule and execute the celebration. Chamber provides ribbon, giant scissors, and official certificate.
Ribbon Cutting celebrations are offered to:
- Grand openings
- Relocations
- New ownership
- Major Renovations
We also offer business celebrations for members celebrating a milestone anniversary (in increments of 5 years) or if you do not have a brick-and-mortar location. Hosted as a certificate presentation and photo opt.
